Springfield brewer talks beer and politics

It’s been two years since Illinois lawmakers raised the craft brewery production cap to 30,000 barrels per year. But some brewers say that’s still not enough. Some have threatened to move production out of state unless the cap is raised, which would allow them to ship an unlimited amount of beer into Illinois. Christopher Trudeau, co-founder of Rolling Meadows Brewery in Springfield, talks beer and politics with us, along with WBEZ’s Tim Akimoff, co-host of  Strange Brews podcast.
